Lionel Messi is learning about life off the pitch in Miami after enjoying a brilliant start to football at the Major League Soccer club.
Messi moved to Inter Miami after running down his Paris Saint-Germain contract and has scored in each of his five games for the club, culminating in eight goals.
He is yet to make his MLS debut but has helped the club reach the 2023 Leagues Cup semi-final with a recent victory coming against Charlotte FC at the DRV PNK Stadium.
According to AS, his eight goals have propelled him to fourth place on the Florida-based club's all-time scorers list, with his compatriot Gonzalo Higuain, the leader with 29 goals.

The Argentina captain scored the fourth goal in their last victory over Charlotte, and to celebrate the win, co-owner David Beckham took the group to a party hosted by David Grutman at Gekko Miami - a sushi and steakhouse restaurant.
In attendance were also Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, who have joined their former Barcelona captain in the United States. Messi's wife, Antonella Roccuzzo, as well as Victoria Beckham and Elena, were also present.
Their next game will come away against Philadelphia in the Leagues Cup semi-final at Subaru Park. The Pennsylvania club beat Miami 4-1 in June before Messi and co arrived.
According to Bleacher Report, his league debut will now be against New York Red Bulls on August 26, after the game against Charlotte was postponed due to involvement in the Cup.

FootballSports Brief reported that Jordi Alba made his Inter Miami debut coming off the bench in the second half of the 3-1 victory over Atlanta United in the Leagues Cup.
Alba, like Messi, turned down lucrative offers elsewhere to move to the MLS and admitted the club made the most efforts to sign him and made him feel very important.
